3 common mistake in job interview

It’s natural to get jittery at the thought of an upcoming job interview. You just want to impress the interviewers and convince them about your suitability for the job. And, considering the fact that other job seekers would be coming for the same interview, the tension tends to mount higher.
As a result, you can make mistake that may even cost you the job. So, there are couple of top tips you can follow to avoid common interview mistakes that most people are caught up in.

1: Getting Jittery

Allowing tension to build up can affect the way you conduct yourself and answer the interview questions thrown at you. Therefore, make sure that nothing affects you to the point of getting jittery. Get enough rest and relax sufficiently prior to the interview day.

2: Inadequate Preparation

Inadequate preparation prior to the interview day can also be one of the causes of tension buildup. Adequate preparation will help build confidence in you and make you composed. Pay close attention to information related to the company. The best place to learn much about the company is their website. Pay attention to specifics such as the company’s core value, their mission statement, culture and theme. Come up with likely questions from the information you've gathered about the company and create answers. Get someone to act as an interview to enable you practice and rehearse your answers, and composure adequately.

3: Being Late for the Interview

Being late to an interview can put you off guard and cause you to be un-composed and jittery. Things that are likely to cause your lateness should be prepared earlier – e.g. ironing the cloth for the interview earlier and packing all the necessary items you need in the bag or brief case you will go with the night before. Once you are able to avoid these common mistakes, you have a better chance with any interview.
